Create a Commission Invoice
When an agent has a kickback commission to be paid or deducted, we check that the amount claimed is correct, then we create a negative invoice for the amount due.
The path to create commission invoices is the following:
Financial/Debtor…insert the agent code needed

Then Accounting/Transactions….press INSERT

Then press INVOICE, select “ZZ” as Branch and Department and account 200100 (Cost of Sales - Override Commissions) and then press OK

Then insert the Item Desccription (i.e. 2021 Commission) and the Net and Tax amounts and press OK

Press SAVE, then select the Document Format (i.e. FIIV) and press OK
