Operations Summary

After a group tour has been sold to the client, the Operations Department is in charge of running the background logistics and administration for the tour. This includes a thorough cross-check of groups in the system, planning of times and booking of non-accommodation services, as well as creation of a technical itinerary, rooming lists for hotels or final documentation prior to group arrival. The Operations team acts as an intermediary between the client/ Customer Care and the supplier. Most operational tasks are Tourplan-based and include daily contact with suppliers throughout Ireland and the UK.
