Trade Show Coordination

The Sales & Marketing department coordinate all major trade shows for Abbey Ireland & UK. There is one per market:

  • FITUR – Madrid (Spanish & Portuguese Market) – January

  • ITB – Berlin (German Market) - March

  • Visit Scotland Expo – Glasgow (Scotland-specific) – April

  • IFTM – Paris (French Market) – October

  • TTG – Rimini (Italian Market) – October

  • WTM – London – (All markets) – November

 

Trade show responsibilities include:

  • Trade show registration

  • Invoice coordination and payment

  • Project manager liaison; coordinating with the Project Manager who oversees the stand operations and logistics at all Abbey Ireland & UK trade shows

  • Graphic designer liaison; coordinating with the in-house Graphic Designer in Abbey to deliver graphic design elements such as stand graphics, video, etc.

  • Supplier liaison, including catering, electricity, A/V, etc.

  • Sales collateral preparation

  • Gift preparation
